Photo of the week: Another piece of loveliness from Pintrest. One of my favourite quotes and always a good one to remember. Nice one, Roald.
Toot! Toot! The 86th Academy Awards are here! I'm a bit of a film buff and have been looking forward to the Oscars for bloomin' ages. I'm rooting for Matthew McConaughey and Steve McQueen (director of 12 Years a Slave). Want to check out the nominations? Click here. I'll be tuning in at 11.30pm and attempting to make it all the way through until 4am... Let's see how that goes. Drop me a tweet if you're trying to make it too, we'll keep each other awake!
2. Lottie's Little Vlogs makes a real video!
I told you on Thursday that I set up a new YouTube channel, Lottie's Little Vlogs. It's all very exciting and today I put up my first proper video. It's a big chunky one where we make four (YES FOUR) things. The whole video is dedicated to what to munch on whilst watching the Oscars tonight. From Golden Hotdogs to a cocktail inspired by Michael Fassbender's glorious beard - it is all going on. If you are a fan on LLK, I'd love you to subscribe and follow my adventures on YouTube. Thanks for all the support, friends. x
3. Beard Tumblr
Related to my Michael Fassbender Ginger Beard Cocktail, have you seen this? Better with a beard. Says it all. I agree with nearly every single one. Love myself a good beard, me.

4. Vlogging finds
As you can imagine, this week has been revolving around the world of vlogs. I don't know how I've managed to avoid this lovely world for so long, but now I've been sucked in. I've fallen down the YouTube rabbit hole. Some of my new favourite vloggers are Tanya Burr, Zoella, Jim Chapman and Francesca Jane. You should come get square eyes with me and check them all out. They are awesome.
5. Making time for cake
My lovely friend Kathryn and I have made a pact. Each week we will make time for coffee, cake and a catch up. Maybe we'll only get to sit down together for an hour, maybe we'll spend the whole afternoon chatting and watch a cafe empty around us. Regardless, we've made our pact to make time to chill. I think everyone should do this. It doesn't have to be a coffee with friends, but give yourself at least one afternoon a week to relax. You deserve it, you busy bee.
Have a lovely Sunday, friends. Make time for some cake - maybe this one? xx
